Matthew 3:16-17 King James Version (KJV) 16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

I said to myself, “I will watch what I do and not sin in what I say. I will hold my tongue when the ungodly are around me.” (NLT) -Psalm 39:1
Righteous living is a choice. We don’t stop sinning without taking action. Watch what you do and think about the choices you are making. Do they honor God? Are they showing love towards others? Are you being salt and light to those who may be ungodly around you? If your answers don’t point to Jesus, it’s time to take action so you do not sin in what you say and do.

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=Matthew%206%3A19-Matthew%206%3A21&version=KJV
