Matthew 3:16-17 King James Version (KJV) 16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering. (NLT) -Romans 8:17
God’s plan uses suffering to produce perseverance which builds godly character in our lives. As we share in God’s glory and His suffering we become transformed to be more like Christ. When we face hard times, remember God is there sharing in it all with you. He uses all things for His good and uses the tough stuff to grow us closer Him.

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage?search=Acts%204%3A10&version=KJV
