The LORD replies, “I have seen violence done to the helpless, and I have heard the groans of the poor. Now I will rise up to rescue them, as they have longed for me to do.” (NLT) -Psalm 12:5 God hears the cries of the helpless, poor, needy, and disenfranchised. He is the great rescuer! Let’s join in the work of the Lord and be those who rise up to help our neighbors in need. We need to ask God to give us eyes to see and ears to hear how we can step out of our comfort zones to show the love of Jesus to the very least of these.
