(NLT) -Exodus 20:1-3 The ten commandments were given to us by God as a way to live. The first four commandments all relate to our relationship with God. The last six all address our relationships with others. It's important to recognize that God was not giving us a set of rules to live by so he could set us up for failure, but instead a manual on how to relate to God and others.
