Matthew 3:16-17 King James Version (KJV) 16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

I am overwhelmed with joy in the LORD my God! For he has dressed me with the clothing of salvation and draped me in a robe of righteousness. I am like a bridegroom in his wedding suit or a bride with her jewels. (NLT) -Isaiah 61:10
It's a freeing feeling when we realize God's grace covers us. No more are we chained to guilt for the things we have done to ourselves or how we have mistreated others. It's a humbling acknowledgement when we realize we are sinners and can do nothing to stop it. Yet God, full of grace and mercy, has wiped away our shortcomings and fills in for us. Think back on your biggest regrets. Now take a moment to recognize God has exchanged your guilty baggage for brand new wedding clothes. Then experience this overwhelming joy.
